Ali Fedotowsky, Season Six Bachelorette and current TV host, was foraging in eastern PEI recently with Chef Michael Smith for her Emmy winning show 1st Look, which visits top destinations for inventive food. Ms Fedotowsky went on a number of food excursions with Chef Smith across the province. "This island is like a postcard. It's so beautiful, I've loved every second being here," Ms Fedotowsky said. "The people are wonderful and lovely, the food's delicious, and the seafood is out of this world." Last Wednesday she went lobster fishing in Souris with Darren MacKinnon on his boat, Pair-a-Dice. "Yesterday I went foraging through the woods and ate some cattail," she said. This trip was the Williamstown, Massachusetts native's first time to PEI, but she admits she was raised on Anne of Green Gables and may have all of the books and a stack of video cassettes to her name. In the photo Mr MacKinnon, Ms Fedotowsky, and Chef Smith prepare to set sail out of Souris Harbour.
