The Westisle Wolverines A division rugby team played both their third and fourth games of the season Wednesday, May 8, against Three Oaks Seniors High. The first game was a 5-5 tie, but Westisle defeated Tosh 17-5 in the second game. Shown making a tackle during the first game is Westisle player Cameron Paynter. Westisle Coach Thomas Collins wanted to acknowledge player Bennett Raynor for making two tries with one conversion in the second game. In the recent zones competitions, she placed first in singles and in mixed divisions, earning herself a place at provincials. Northport and Hardy's Channel harbours will be having additional meetings prior to Monday, to vote on whether or not the strike will continue.  The Westisle Drama club has been working hard on perfecting the production of Grease which will be presented May 13,15 and 17 in Westisle Theatre at Westisle Composite High School. As many as 25 cast and crew have been spending the last several weeks on stage in full costume practicing their lines.
