Expansion completed of Margaret Stewart Ellis Home
Minister of Health and Wellness Doug Currie announced Feb 28 that residents of the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary are enjoying the benefits of a recently added wing, as well as renovations and upgrades to the existing building. Eight new residents have moved into the home, increasing the number from 25 to 33. The upgraded design gives residents more space and privacy, and every resident has a private room and bathroom. Government invested approximately $2.5 million in the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home as part of its $65 million manor replacement program.
